Change = is in the air! We’ve revamped our news letter and add some extra = 220;mojo” to our meetings, and it turns out Microsoft has used the s= ame time to launch a new SharePoint resource center.

For a l= ong time a SharePoint expert was “the guy with a thousand and one bo= okmarks in IE”. This came about because SharePoint was running= out of Microsoft’s front door faster than anyone could have expecte= d. Leaving all the resources including infrastructure and developmen= t documentation, hands on labs and training (end users and administrators)= behind. Well, the dust has settled and some great resources have em= erged.

So here= are some links I think are a must for a SharePoint person, plus a couple = extra that can be kept in your back-pocket for a rainy day.

Wel= l we’re not just counting web hits, we are your local SharePoint and= Office user group, and where-else is better to ask questions, find soluti= ons and get in contact with real people than your local user group W= e are planning on some changes on the website so as they say watch this sp= ace!

In this= session David Abramsky from AvePoint will take us through a recent custom= er example of where the AvePoint suite was used to manage a multi-server M= OSS environment for an international finance institution with multiple loc= ations worldwide.

David w= ill also demonstrate how AvePoint’s Compliance modules were used to = uphold company standards and monitor user activities in MOSS.
