Greetings and Salutations,
Welcome to the Adelaide SharePoint User Group mailing list! I hope that week 5 of 2008 finds you well.
The response to the ADNUG newsletter has been absolutely overwhelming! People from all areas of business seem to be all sharing a common interest, SharePoint.
I’d like to thank everyone who has joined the mailing list. Your support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to having you as a financial member.
As you can imagine, the committee has been busy organising domain names, venues, door prizes, mailing lists and servers, because of this, I’d also like to bring everyone up to speed with what has been happening behind the scenes.
Updates concerning ASPUG:
· Hostworks has agreed to purchase domain names for is and provide the bandwidth for the web site (the domains are : http://www.aspug.org.au, http://www.aspug.net.au and http://www.aspug.com.au)
· We have signed up with MOSSIG and have a community site there.
· Microsoft have stepped up and said they would donate a door prize for our first meeting. We are still working out what it will be.
· Still waiting for final word on the Microsoft Auditorium
